A wonderful part of our visit here in Colorado is coffee at Sweet Bloom! Andy and Laurel moved back to Colorado last summer to start a coffee roasting business and it was so much fun to see the place today and enjoy some of Andy's coffee. Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters is tucked into this great space in Lakewood, Colorado.

Our friendship with Andy and Laurel date back to May 1995 when I took my first course at Au Sable Institute. Andy and I were both introduced to Ornithology at the same time and this man took off into the birding world like a rocket. After three years in Lebanon, working with A Rocha, Andy and Laurel ended up in Maryland with A Rocha USA. We remember visiting Andy and Laurel there ten years ago and who knew that his first job in the coffee world as a barista would put him on a conveyer belt to the top of the coffee roasting business. We so enjoyed seeing this place and hope all the best for them. We certainly enjoyed the coffee and pastries.
