Smoothies for breakfast

These little ones don't take to spinach and lettuce very well yet, so I sneak it in to their smoothies for breakfast. Here is my favorite smoothie concoction for the family. I always start with a banana base and add whatever fruit we have around the house. Mango or peach is another great addition.

Super Smoothies
2 bananas
2-3 apples
1 orange
1 cup blueberries
2 cups lettuce mix or spinach
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Blend all but the spinach on high and add a little water if you need to get it going. When everything is pureed, add the spinach and puree.
